Lizzo’s brows were bleached at the time of filming so Alexx drew on a faint brown line around where her brows would be, and added some gold pigment to the ends of the bleached brows to heighten the gold!
Some call it bronze, some copper, some gold – I did the last but I think the first two are more correct lol.
Anyhow, I am adoring Julia Garner’s look from the 2019 Emmy Awards. It’s amazing when someone does something out of the norm for a big event like this, and Julia always seems to get it right.

I’m not sure how Anya Taylor-Joy achieves her gold-touch hair (looks like gold flake) but it has a total Amber Heard vibe 🌟
Anya created the look with makeup artist Nathalie Eleni for the 2019 Critics Circle Film Awards.
The gilded eyes were Shiseido Aura Dew Highlighter
applied with a wet brush for a bolder gold effect.

So, it’s the Game of Thrones Season Finale tonight – all the mixed feels 😢😁 and that’s before we’ve even watched it.
Getting all in the mood though, I created some GOT-inspired nails.
Houses Lannister, Targaryen, Stark, and Tarth all get nods with our sigil-inspired nail art.
All were created with just four colours –
OPI’s Got the Mean Reds, Unfrost My Heart, Rollin’ in Cashmere, and 4 in the Morning – plus a touch of Today, I Accomplished Zero on the Targaryen nail for a colour-themed top coat.
Plus a wooden “orange stick”, seriously, a wooden stick. Nah, the designs aren’t “perfect” but it’s Game of Thrones, they should be rustic and kinda worn looking anyhoo.
In Depth Info
House Lannister’s Lion had a base of “Got the Mean Reds” with the golden lion made with “Rollin’ in Cashmere” – I mean, Cersei would be wouldn’t she!
The Targaryen Nail has a base of OPI’s “4 in the Morning” with the dragon (it didn’t feel right to do 3, and we just couldn’t only do 2 😭) made from “Got the Mean Reds”. A touch of “Today, I Accomplished Zero” was added as top coat due to the red and black theme, but to be honest, the nail could have done without.
The Stark-inspired nail also has “4 in the Morning” as the base, and “Unfrost My Heart” made their famed wolf sigil.
Finally, inspiration came from the House of Tarth’s Rose/Gold Sun sigil part – one cos it fitted with the colour scheme, and two, Brienne deserves a bit more credit. The same colours were used as for the Lannister nail (Jaime and Brienne would probs be fine with that).
Love seeing someone try something new that’s not on-trend.
This was Hailey Baldwin at the H&M Conscious Dinner event in March 2017 and makeup artist Dendoll set her look apart with a touch of gold liner in the waterlines.
